Q Why even though all blades spin, the quadcopter still cannot flip / rotate / take off?

A 1. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery; 2. Check whether the blades are installed correctly.

Q Why one of the blades does not spin?

A 1. Check the tightness of the blades; 2. Remove the blade that does not spin to see if the motor is working properly; 3. If the motor does not work, check whether the motor gear is connected properly; 4. Remove the body shell, check if the motor cable is connected to the mainboard appropriately.

Q How to bind the quadcopter and the transmitter?

A First turn on the quadcopter power switch, place it on a horizontal position, then turn on the transmitter. Push the left throttle lever to the highest position, and then pull it back to the lowest position. A 1. Check the tightness of the blades ; 2. Adjust the trim key ; 3. Re-modulate the frequency, the quadcopter must be put on a flat ground; 4. Re-calibrate gyroscope.

Q How to distinguish the steering of a blade?

A Blades are usually marked with A , B or R; A refers to forward blade, B means inverted blade. Blades with R mark are forward blades, inverted blades are without R mark. Diagonal direction blades have the same steering, adjacent blades have opposite steering.

Q How to judge the steering of a motor?

A 1. Usually, motor with red and blue wires is usually a forward motor, while the reversed motor presents black and white wires; Diagonal direction motors have the same steering, adjacent motors have opposite steering. 2. On the motor surface sometimes you can find CW or CCW. CW stands for forward motor, while CCW refers to reversed motor.

Q Why the transmitter has no reaction when operated?

A 1. Check and make sure that the batteries are installed by the right polarity. 2. Battery power is insufficient, please full charge the battery, or replace with a full charge battery.

Mavic Pro Hands On - Fly - Test - Camera - DJI

Performance: 10 out of 10

Performance refers to the physical performance of the drone and refers to things like flight time and battery life.

The Mavic includes a 3900mAh 3S intelligent battery, which includes extra safety features, alerts you when power is low and brings the drone back to home when the battery is running out of power.

The Mavic’s 25 minute flight time is pretty standard for drones, and it can fly about 45 MPH in Sport Mode. The Mavic flies faster than the Phantom 4 in both Regular and Sport Mode.

Performance-wise, we gave the Mavic a 10 out of 10. It has the fastest, smoothest and most stable flight characteristics of the DJI models.

Portability: 10 out of 10

The Mavic folds up really compact for easy transport and has a small profile even when fully extended compared to other quads with similar capabilities.

Camera: 9 out of 10

Next up, camera! The Mavic’s 4K camera uses the same sensor as the Phantom 4, but has a different lens with a narrower field of view. The Mavic camera is super tiny and doubles as the brushless gimbal motor for the roll axis for physical stabilization instead of digital stabilization that is common in other models.

The Mavic also includes a tap-to-focus feature, which we recommend using within 25 meters. Outside of 25 meters, the Mavic uses the same infinite focus on the Phantom 4.

Overall, the Mavic does a pretty good job of processing. The footage looks phenomenal considering the size of the camera, and it has an 8 second exposure for still photographs.

Smart Features: 10 out of 10

These were pretty comparable to the Phantom 4, including standards like tap to fly and all the computer aspects of the Phantom 4 despite having a smaller form factor.

The smart features work really well. Tap to fly automatically sends the drone to a position that you determine. The Spotlight feature makes the drone do whatever it can to keep you in frame.

The Profile feature follows alongside your profile, and the Trace feature makes the drone fly in front of you or behind you and locks on you to keep you in frame.

The Mavic also has Arm Control, which follows commands you make with your arms. This feature works pretty well, but is probably better for personal use than professional use.

One new feature on the Mavic is Tripod Mode, which is specifically for using indoors 10–15 feet in the air. It’s super stable and has a downward vision positioning system that works fantastically.

Controller: 9 out 10

The controller is small without sacrificing any features or performance. Rather than using Lightbridge like previous DJI models, the Mavic controller uses OcuSync. This allows you to fly up to 4.3 miles away and maintain a 720p connection. It also includes a full 1080p HD link within the 4 mile radius.

OcuSync seems to have resolved some of the glitches in Lightbridge, which is a huge plus.

Another cool feature of the Mavic is to record and livestream on Facebook, YouTube and Periscope.

DJI Mavic Pro Review!!!

DJI rolled out the new Mavic Pro a few months ago and it’s currently one of the hottest new drones on the market, so I wanted to give you my review of it after having it for a few months. There are way too many features for me to cover here and there are many that I am still learning about, but I’ll cover the basics in hopes that this will help any of you who are considering a Mavic as your first or next drone.

Let’s talk about the “biggest feature” first - the size!

* The Mavic is less than 8” long and 3 1/4” wide and 3 1/4” tall when folded up

* When unfold it’s just over 13” diagonally

I really love the way the controller is made. It looks and feels a lot like a gaming controller and is very comfortable to hold. The sticks feel quite natural and are very responsive.

First thing to know is that it connects to your phone or tablet and you use the DJI Go app to see what the camera sees as well as to change all kinds of settings on the Mavic. You don’t have to use your phone if you don’t want to because it has a wifi mode that allows you to fly without the controller - but to be honest, since I can get set up and in the air in 60 seconds using my phone connected to the controller, I have never wanted to fly without it.

You can use your iPhone or Android phone to connect to the controller using the included cables. If you have a slim case on your phone, you can leave it on, but thicker cases will have to be removed to allow your phone to fit.

To connect the controller to your phone, all you do is open up the two bottom arms, plug the cable into your phone, and squeeze the two arms together, allowing your phone to fit snugly into the slots in the arms. It took me a little practice, but now I can connect in just a few seconds.

* At the top left of the controller is a “Return to Home” button.

* Next to the left stick is a pause button that you can press when in certain modes to have it stop and hover.

* At the bottom right of the controller screen is a 5 direction button that you can customize to do things like zoom in and out, change to the map view, and more.

* Then there are two shoulder buttons with the left one used to start/stop recording and the right to take a photo.

* Below each of those are dials that allow you to move the gimbal up and down and to control the exposure settings of the camera.

* Finally, lower down on the back side are two buttons called C1 and C2. These can be customized to do things like center auto focus, playback video, and more.

The DJI Go app allows you to see what the camera sees while you’re flying and provides all kinds of other useful data and controls. You can see how much battery you have left, how high you are, how far away from your launch point you are, how many more minutes of flight you have, how many satellites you’re connected to, how much space you have left on your SD card, camera settings, and much, much more.

How to Install Propellers on New DJI Phantom 4 Pro
